Kinda figured this would happen at some point, might be tempted to give it a try again now. It was a good game, but never worth the $50 + $100+ a year to play.

Their still offering subscriptions for bonuses, but as of now it doesn't look pay2win. Their still selling the expansion too which is weird, but extra classes don't really give you an advantage.

Ive always thought RIFT was cool, but never wanted to pay for it.

I got the game and expansion free from Raptr. Been having fun playing it so far.

I saw that, but saw that you had to play a giant amount of hours or somethin, not really worth it to me.

I left it idle on my computer on the login screen overnight, woke up, claimed code, ???, profit.

Mmm, didn't think of that. No codes left though now anyway, ah well.

I'll most likely be playing this as long as the cash shop isn't Pay to Win, and they keep it primarily to cosmetic items.

I heard Rift's end game PVE was amazing

xp boosters, mounts, other boosters is what they said, but they said they won't be changing the xp requirements so you need any of that. I doubt they'll turn into Joymax.

I have a collectors edition collecting dust in my room. I haven't used the code yet, but I wonder if I'll get founder perks or something like TERA

Any one down to make a guild in this? Get a nice little SRF group going.

I'll join, but I won't really be playing till the 12th. Wasting my gaming time on Tera right now, even though it's a mindless grind and the endgame is RNG for days.

Seen it coming since I quitted 2-3 months before Storm Legion. The quality went down tremendously each update, and storm legion didn't offer me anything of interest. How ever the Hammerknell Fortress raid was freaking awesome. Last boss mechanics was awesome and that's the only time I actually enjoyed raiding. If you any one of you start play on EU I recommend Bloodiron server, alot of awesome people on that server. Atleast it was.

Sorry for double post, but I've just claimed my free copy that includes base game + expansion + 30 days of game time.

All you have to do is get around 14 hours of gameplay, and you can just leave the game running on the background in character select.

Got my free copy last night, but after playing Tera this game looks so cheesy/cartoony it's driving me crazy.

If you've had an active subscription any time in the past the game is now F2P for you.

My subscription was from like September 2012 and I'm on playing for free right meow. Sup guys

I had the free 30 days from the Raptr thing, just haven't really played. I'll probably start playing on and off once I get to 60 on Tera.

I was gonna suggest a PvE server since those tend to be more laid back, but I don't know anything about Rift's endgame, so I'll trust your judgement.

That said, I don't know much about current Rift in general, last time I played I did some weird Riftblade/Void Knight setup, but I think those got changed and it doesn't work anymore. Any class suggestions?

I dunno I just looked up a quick rundown of the classes and souls on mmo-champ and picked the one that sounded most appealing.

As for the server, I played on a PVP server on WoW, but did high end PVE there. Figured I'd continue the tradition.

Yeah I'm not playing on that server. Community is a bunch of angry kids and unoriginal trolls. All I saw in chat was "do you even lift bro" for 5 minutes. No thanks.

I feel like that's going to be any server since now that it's F2P all the WoW kiddies will hop over.

Probably to an extent, but that server was awful. Trolls everywhere, people talking about how fun it is to spawn camp low levels, rage everywhere, just a whole bunch of idiots.
