Its that time again, when we decide what game has captivated us, thrilled us and down right excited us.

Voting will start today (8th December ) and run until next Sunday (16th December), everyone gets one vote each so make it count

As we have a 3 way tie and people are upset about boarderlands not being included we are going to have a final vote between the follow 4 games

Black Ops 2 on the list, but not Halo 4? :S

CoD is too 'mainstream' to become GotY IMO. And I say that as a player that loves CoD

I went for ME3 because I only really played that one from the list. I should really catch up on the game =/

Btw there are two little spelling errors in the titles (Ops with 2 p's and Darksiders are two letters switched)

Sorry gw2, but ac3 gets my vote.

Imo AC3 isn't that fantastic to be GOTY, but then again nothing else is and AC3 is the best on that list so I voted for it.

BO2 and BM shouldn't be there yes, but The Walking Dead was very nicely done. It's not your typical kind of game. The player is meant to experience the story, not the gameplay. Though it's not fantastic overall so it's probably not GOTY, but nomination worthy nonetheless.

Mass Effect 3 simply because the other choices suck. No Halo 4 on a Game of the Year thread?

Assassin's Creed 3 without any doubts.

I could say the same with the entire list. What you think isn't relevant what to the majority thinks. I could go on and bash Mass Effect 3 about every tid bits about it that relates to the game and not even about it, but I won't.

I'll agree on Black Mesa. However, it is my GOTY out of the list. This year was one of the worst years in gaming for me. GOTY was either Journey, an indie game of feels, or Black Mesa, a mod in development for a decade. Yep.

Borderlands 2 should win hands down, but how the hell do you miss that on here?

I even asked for Borderlands 2 to be on the list...

No Borderlands 2? It won G4's GOTY so why isn't it on here?

Now i know some people were disapointed that Boraderlands 2 didnt make the list, so if enough of you ask for it one more "Final Round" list can be made with the following 4 games;
