Working on a game from concept to release. Using Game Maker.
The game has nothing to it yet. No story or anything.
Looking for anybody that can help.

I'm interested, I don't know how much help I'll be. But I'd like to give it a try.

Gamemaker's a pretty simple program. It's usually for 2D games. Just not sure how well gamemaker deals with 3D stuff, so I'm not sure how models would work out :S

Oh lol. I though he was making a 3d game. Haven't heard about Game Maker before.

Great learning tools can be found there as well. I recommend reading tutorials and such before you jump in. There is even a version of CryEngine for free use if people want to use it.

I smell an RPG. If not the graphics, it's usually the story that makes games special. There's a reason why even after we've progresses through quality 3D games, Chrono Trigger is still being released across multiple gaming platforms. Like a good book, it has to keep the audience interested enough to keep turning the page; just a different medium. I can help with the project..it'll be a great learning experience.

I know some java and am going to take another java course next semester.

I use to make a bunch of those! Well uhh.. make a hero first obviously and... idk, friends he finds among the time.

We need a story and theme guiss.

Edit: can you use our names to make it a SRF RPG, that'd be epic

It does support 3D, but it's not the best out there. I worked a little bit in Game Maker, but nothing much, just made some simple games, too bad I lost everything due to viruses.
