This is essentially True Crime: Hong Kong, but Activision commited a true crime when they completely dropped this game. Square Enix picked it up not too long after and this is the product.
+Emma Stone and Lucy Lee are voice actors in it.
It takes points from Stranglehold/Max Payne; slow motion when you jump from cover to cover Burnout; take down cars in car chases/races like you would in Burnout Assassins Creed; style platforming/free running Just Cause; car jacking (minus the grapple) Batman; style combat GTA/Saints Row; sandbox+misc. activities

Given that there was no thread, I feel like a proper mini review of the game would have been appropriate here.

At first saw the trailer of the game... It didn't even look pretty, but after watching the gameplay... I just want it now!

I hope the gameplay isn't the same as GTA's sandbox crap. The storyline seems nice enough but the last thing the world needs is another GTA remix.

It isn't.
I'm just about 50% done the storyline now, and most of the action so far has been fist fighting, or "martial arts" as they call it; which can actually be challenging at times when you're up against 8 people. The combat itself is alright, but it can be pretty unforgiving when you miss a counter attack though.
The story is excellent, but a bit predictable sometimes. It really draws you in. I hope at the end of the game, it actually lets me choose between being a cop or a triad. The cantonese voice acting is great with the cut-scenes and main characters, but the pedestrians sound like white people talking cantonese.

In cutscenes, several characters are invisible, usually the ones who are talking. It's kinda weird and I can't understand what's going on. Some other people have this problem as well, but I haven't found a solution.
