I think this one worked out better than #2. I farked myself at the end because the video was way too long. I'm hoping to work on that for the next one. Comments on this structure and style of let's play would be appreciated!


EPISODE 1:

I decided to try a let's play while starting Tera. I've never done this before so I am terrible at editing and compressing files. Hopefully people will watch, even it's only a half dozen.

Id suggest lowering your game sounds by quite a bit. Other than that it looked pretty good for a first.

I'm more of a tingy off-white, than a yellow. With my dad being a pure yellow, and my mom a creamy white, i'm probably more of a light custard than anything.

I didn't want to alienate three quarters of the possible views by leaving with "yay, white people". I didn't feel the need to elaborate on it not being white. A light custard, however, is probably appropriate.

On a serious note, as the previous redditors mentionned on your video, you do have the voice and intonnation. Episode two had that little awkward/boring moment where you didn't really have anything to comment about although that's not entirely your fault.

I was a fool to click this thread thinking of Half Life.

I got the game for free, because I was a cheap bastard and wasn't willing to pay the boxed copy of $50 because it just isn't worth it at the moment in my opinion. Lots of things wrong and many "Launch Features" are disabled. I could go on and list them all, but I'm lazy. Also as I'm typing this I'm watching you bitch about the game.

"There aren't many servers is the game not that active?" close enough. The server isn't just a single server. Imagine it more like Eve where one server is made up of multiple servers in a single universe. Chat server, game servers, and dungeon servers.

"Monsters are predictable" pretty much. Everything as a tell and you can dodge it. Most players are stupid and take the hits. Bosses in hard mode will one shot you if you aren't geared and crystalled up correctly.

I'm too lazy to watch the other 7 minutes. The game is game is a grind as in reptitive tasks, but you can reach 60 in month tops of you play casually. The final tier armor? Different story, because there are 3 sets of t13. Only one is enabled currently. The other sets come from rewards from doing the Nexus aka rifts and the other is battlegrounds.
