One of the few that prefers Black Ops over Modern Warfare. Not that I buy FPS anyways. Just play them at my friends house.

I kinda like it for the campaign, but that's it. I might get this a couple months after release so it's half off or so. Activion also filed copyright for Space Warfare and Future Warfare. Assuming that's next years

Graphics are disappointing. I'm alright with the time period, but how long before it turns into another Halo?

Also, the **** was up with those horses? I don't even...

Am I the only one who's become completely skeptical about call of duty games on an yearly basis?

I regret having bought both Black Ops and Modern Warfare 2, and won't be buying this until way after release and IF I see some actual changes/improvements worth 45€.

Dunno found Black Ops to be refreshing, something different than the MW series.

I myself regret buying Mw3 at full price. Blops I didn't even buy. I think they need to NOT release a CoD every year.. take a little more time developing them so what we get is a Primed Video game and not something rushed... Blops 2 graphics don't even look near as good as Mw2's still... that's is a game that will have 3 years on it at the time of release. People want to play gorgeous games. Makes it more appealing for the most part.

I for one am looking forward to see what new features they introduce to the multiplayer. You just have to be aware it will always be the same basics with a few series specific additions. Can't wait to see what they're planning with the quadropters or what ever they're called.

The issue with spending more time on each Call of Duty game is that in the end it becomes the same damn thing and people get bored with it anyway. Releasing one every year satisfies the gamer's need for new stuff, even if it's just the same game reskinned.

However, Black Ops wasn't great so I won't be getting this. Especially with Halo 4 right around the corner

i'd say i hope this gets crushed by halo 4 but for one i know it won't. and for another halo looks like it's trying to be a call of duty game in its own right anyway.

I think he's referring to shooters on consoles separate from PC. Everyone knows PC shooters are better, and Halo brought the best, closest thing to consoles in the way of shooters.

Call of Duty has always been fall back for people with downs to come back to and still be able to compete with it's .5 second kill times. Halo 1 - Reach set the standard for competitive shooters in that 1v1 battles actually lasted a while and they came down to individual skill.

I haven't looked much into Halo 4, but what I got from his post is that it may be revolving back to the cheap, easy play style that has plagued the Call of Duty franchise.

@"how is it different from pc" i wouldn't know about pc so i can't say. PC has counterstrike and i believe that game is still going pretty strong? but halo put console shooters on the map competitively.

then reach decimated it with gimmicks, and Halo 4 is looking to push it to an entirely new level with a lot of blatant cod rips thrown in.

&call of duty.. well i think we all know about call of duty by now.

I think it was more like H1 to H3. Reach imo was were it went down-hill. Maybe H3 - although the MLG playstyle was good.
yeah H4 is sounding like its going to play like shit honestly.

COD for me is just a game to dick around in with your younger brother and maybe your dog can join in and play too. Doesn't help that the maps are horrible. Black Ops 2 isn't going to be any different.
I haven't owned a Xbox in a while anyways and the last COD I bought was COD4. So there is no way I'm getting Black Ops 2 lol.

I think I liked BLOPs better than MW3 honestly. Gameplay and guns just seem more fun.. and zombies too.

I think its weird that blops 2 is set in the future, wth will the guns be.. and robots and stuff? -_-

Ohh man, I can't wait for this. I actually sold my PS3 when MW3 came out lol. I only play COD on the PS3 and MW3 was the biggest fail of all. Best modern COD game is Black Ops. I hope this one is going to be even better. Time to buy me a new PS3 I think

That trailer does look nice. Halo is the only game I ever liked that had a futuristic look so I wonder how this is going to turn out for me. I will get it either way but I won't be pre-ordering or anything like that.

Will be getting this. I thought black ops 1 was decent so with modernized guns im sure ill enjoy this even more. MP looks very nice!

It's nothing new but I am indeed curious to see how that is going to work in a fast paced game as CoD.

Could be pretty good. For a change they'll have a dedicated PC team as well, i hope they'll support ATI Video cards this time. My PC couldn't pull a consistent 60 frame rate on the lowest settings and 800x600 in black ops while my pc is pretty decent. Time will tell.

Am I the only one who finds it hilarious that they're adding a built-in wallhack? As if the heartbeat sensor wasn't n00b enough.

Well I'm sure they have something to counter it.

The new Call of Duties have epic single players and I'll just download and play that here as well.
Multiplayer however... I won't play that unless they make it a legit shooter and not some Farking RPG level shit with unlockables.
