Hahaha I just found this old game I used to play when I was a kid. It was short but hard as hell xD.
I think there were only 4 levels, but it was fun anyway. It's made on the jazz jackrabbit engine.

It's a platformer. You gotta grab loaded batteries to activate mechanisms so you can progress through the game. 3 empty batteries can be traded for a full one.
You're on an energy timer so you'll have to be on the lookout for energy stations.
You gotta collect 3 super batteries and ultimately defeat the Battery Boss.
give it a try, it pretty challenging even now.

just install wherever and then press "nieuw spel" to start.

Wasn't it made back in the day alongside this whole thing
the Netherlands had about putting your batteries in the
separate garbage bin? Pretty sure we got this game for
free when something like that was in every commercial
break on TV :]

We got it form some friends, but that seems to be the gist of it.
