Don't really remember playing any of the previous ones but everything going on in that trailer looks fun and sexy, title just made it to the top of my list.
I'll add proper embedded links later if it makes sense.

I've played all the previous games and loved them, but this...
Not a fan of the new character design and voices. They should've kept the same Dante.

I like the new Dante better, old Dante was too generic for me to defend his retirement. New Dante is less about the black swan gotcha deal and more about the actual combat. Also forget Dante, is all about that city being alive, that alone is worth my 60 bucks.

Old Dante was just a bad ass. This new guy looks like a bitch.

DMC 3 is by far the best in the series.

Even in terms of combat ? That's what I care about mostly.

Looked into this more and from the looks of it.. it's not as big a slasher as the previous games where you can take on groups of enemies at the same time.. takes a bit more to kill just 1 enemy.

Which can be a good thing.

I guess it could be, but more and more things are making this look nothing like DMC and just a recycled game title.

If it was all the same wouldn't it be more similar to a recycled game title than a game introducing new concepts?

New concepts and Nothing like the original are two different things though.

I can't say, never even played DMC, so can't argue there.
I was just making a general point.

It's a new character with different voices in a new hack'n'slash game. Why not just make their own game instead of trying to piggyback off the DMC series' popularity? That way, the majority of people who enjoy hack'n'slash games can see it without bias and resentment.
