So I've been playing Modern Warfare 2 for a while and I've ran into a couple of hackers lately. I actually have trouble understanding how their hacks work, like I've seen alot of chopper gunners, ac-130s, and other killstreaks brought into the air way too fast. I'd figure it probably is possible but I've heard things about aimbots, unlimited ammo, no recoil?

So my question is what are some hacks that I should be aware of when I'm playing MW2, so that I know what I'm up against.

Playing MW2 on the PC is hopeless, one big hackfest.
Aimbots, Wallhack etc.

Modernwarfare is full with nuke boosting kids and aimbots.

Are you sure they aren't from care packages? Hacks range from anywhere between what ever you said xD But if you get unlimited ammo and stuff it's usually a hack for the whole lobby, not just one guy. Atleast on the xbox, don't know if you play on the pc/ps3/xbox.

Aimbots and wallhackers, that's about it afaik. the aimbots are easy, though the wallhackers may sometimes become problematic if they have some skill.
They're real fun to fight actually. It get's even better if you can get all the people in the room to join the fight against the hackers XD

get a riot shield/FMJdeagle/throwingknife/stungrenade + scavenger/stopping power/ commando

The trick against aimbots is to just tank their bullets until they gotta reload, then you just throw a knife in their face and scavenge. A little risky if they have an LMG, in that case you should walk towards them and use the shield to melee them.
The Deagle is your main weapon against wallhackers. when they run behind a cornerswitch to deagle and finish them off with a surprise in the face

it takes some practice, but the sense of achievement in making an aimbotter ragequit feels so good XD

NOTE:
if you want something that can be used against real player as well, get akimbo deagle instead of FMJ.

Lol, like everyone else said - shitloads of hackers on pc. I don't play it on pc, so the only suggestion I can give is get it on a console; hardly any hackers there nowadays.

Not just the pc anymore. Last time I played on ps3, there were modded lobbies. Idk if there still is after the last update.

Like seriously I haven't run into hackers in the longest time. The only issue is it takes forever to find a game. I blame IW servers lol.

I think a lot of people are over hacking now - I haven't seen any hacked lobbies on xbox for about 3 months.
