I am, it looks fantastic. It doesn't have priority though.

I heard they changed the engine, I'll have to see how much they changed before I play it. It's super Farking annoying to spend 5 minutes doing jumps cause if you don't you'll get shitty lvl up stat bonuses and be too weak in 10-20 hours when the game gets good and have to start over.

Me neither, I'm already paying full price for at least 3 games in 2 months plus a new xbox.

Meh.
Battlefield 3 this October. DotA2 by the end of this year. GW2 by the end of this year.
As someone else stated, I'll wait for the Steam sale.

I can't decide whether to get the PC or PS3 version. Both have their advantages but I guess I have some time left to decide.

Well to be fair. I didn't do a search but I did browsed a few (2 or 3) pages back to see anything about Skyrim.

It's not new footage, it's the same footage as the one from E3 and quakecon and it's 3-4 months old.

Well they were released shortly, but it was the same.
The only good thing about a lack of new information is the joy for having less spoilers xD.

I hope it's as good as people expect it to be. Hopefully Bethesda won't disappoint their fans as BioWare has.
I don't usually like RPG games, but I really enjoyed Witcher 2 immensely and ready for more. Skyrim, I hope will be just as enthralling, and yes I know they are two different games, but I look forward to the intrigue and story of a good RPG.
Here is how I saw Witcher 2. It was like reading an enthralling fantasy novel. DA:O and DA2 was like watching a cliche movie I didn't care much for.
Guess what I wish for Skyrim? I want another novel, not a movie. Bethesda don't disappoint!

^ first-person games can be very limiting when it comes to that. the fighting is usually very simple and not as "action packed" as hack'n'slash games (not that you can even see the animation in first-person). Imagine DMC/GOW in first person -- you better have a boatload of antiemetics and analgesics on hand.

Yeah first person isn't really suited for it. You know it's bad when they skip through the combat portions in the preview vids.

It looks better than the combat from Oblivion though that's not really hard. But the combat isn't the feature that draws people to an Elder Scrolls game.
