With the recent release of several screenshots of the game and the upcoming tournament on August 17th, I decided it was a good time to start this thread.
The screenshots that have been leaked so far can be found in the Dota 2 fan website:
According to the website, the screenshots are pretty old and the UI should be vastly improved by now.
Thoughts?

They plan to have an open beta before release which I'm guessing that beta will happen soon after they reveal it this week. Game release is planned for the end of this year I believe.

I dig what I see, seems like it will be easy to tell what is going on in your screen which is something major at least for popularity.

Interesting UI, but... seems too 'weak'. Maybe I am too used to the fancyness of HoN.

Map is awesome. UI is bleh. Graphics are quite childish/LoL-like.
Regardless, I'll still buy the game.
Found the hero selection screen.

What's with the UI, it's like they got lazy of stylizing it and made some parts look minimalistic which make look like bleh.

I mentioned in the first post the UI is most likely 4 months old which means it should be better by now.
