I'm surprised they added this, but with future games of Valve having inventories and this said

Will there be other games that support trading?

We’re working now with other game developers to incorporate both Trading and Inventories. Portal 2 should be reasonably soon and we hope to have several third-party games in the next few months.

I don't know what to say other than.. I can actually trade my TF2 items and extra games legitly now.

Proof valve likes to make tons of money from unusals via games. But I'm down I'm about to get another unusal I can sell for a game or 2

I think it's more to have legit trading between steam gifts. Leaving more room for profit whenever a sale arises. I would image a lot of people purchasing a game, because it's cheap to trade later on.

Looks like a win for steam and a win for its users.

Eh a lot of people have been complaining about a feature they'll never use

1 person buys a game and passes it around to all his friends

once you unpack it and activate the code, nobody else can use it
