So the OBT for DN will be opening July 26th, and 'cause I've been pretty interested in this game since the first korean trailer, I'm super stoked now for the OBT.
SOOOO.... I was thinking SRF could get together on this. Make a guild or some shit. Should be fun ;P There doin' a decent amount of bonuses for playin' during the OBT (July 26th - Aug 2nd), so it's worth checkin' out I think. It's all in the spoiler below.
Spoiler!
Here is the Class Guide. Classes are gender locked fyi. Thinking Warrior myself.
So yeah, we should get SRF together on this I think.
Too bussy for this but dropping by on a weekend wouldn't be a bad thing.
edit: jk just saw some gameplay for this and I'll be happy to play it when I have free time.
Guild Wars 2, Isle of Janthir (NA)
Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken.
I like how they first shout out and advertise "never before experienced gameplay and content" and directly after that follows a list with features which can be found in every other bloody MMORPG anyway...
Or to put it in other words: looks fucking shite...

If you bothered to watch any gameplay videos, you'd see the game play is nothing like most other games... well maybe a few, but they certainly didn't do a good job of it.
It's not a click, lock-target and skill button game like SRO, it's a dynamic non-targeting combo system. The acrobatics alone make the game look amazing.
Anyone who plans on starting on the 26th (or later), I'll put into the list so we can have some party action going

the problem is that this system also is nothing new and innovative anymore. Vindictus, DDO, C9 just to name a few of the game which already use it effectively for years. So it isn't any "never experienced before" gameplay either. Sure this system is different and in my eyes better than "press 1->see animation->press 2-> see animation" but nothing innovative which would pull me to that game.

I have no idea what DDO is, but Vindictus didn't do what it said really and C9 is nowhere near being released in NA iirc.
So no, it's not a brand new thought, but it also has yet to be done well, so hopefully it turns out. I simply feel you are judging it unfairly.
C9 looks like it'll be pretty sick though, not gonna lie ;P
I'll try this but I likely won't stick around long term seeing as I'm waiting for Rusty Hearts.

However, I think we should choose a standard SRF server. Sound good?
Gerrant?
Also, it's going to be best to party with a even class distro, so if everyone wants to report what class they are gonna play as, or what they are playing as, it'll be a lot easier for getting parties together I think.
