Being a Final fantasy fanboy I finally got around to playing XIII......

It was extreemly Terribad. I really should have done some researching before I picked up that game...

Words cant express how bad that game is.

Im no longer a fanboy of Final Fantasy and Square Enix.

And Im done buying anymore of their shit.

Youre probably talking about Versus 13 or something, yeah, supposedly the Directors that did KH and FFs from X and Before are working on it
but really, after seeing 13...Im just gonna wait like 7 months after it comes out and look at all the reviews.... and I mean reviews from players, not from the review company sites, as they are all paid off (except for wired) they all gave the game like 10/10 or 9/10 or some bs like that Wired was the only honest one...

I guess that's why the guy gave the game away to me for free (craigslist ftw)...I thoguht it was just becuase he was leaving the country and couldn't find anyone to buy it...


I remember when you would see 'square' on a game box and just be guaranteed in that instant that it would be an experience which would blow your existence away now it means 'jpop cutscenes'

I thought it was fun. Didn't get bad reviews, but i guess the majority didn't like it. Versus better be Farking amazing. They announced XIII versus before ps3 was even released. Still no date set, but every few months we get news.

The story is OK, everything else was OK, the battle was kind of mediocre... switch to Paradigmas or w/e is called? Can't be one single person a Farking healer or dps? It's so hilarious to see the main character as a healer lol.

I miss FFX. They should remade it for Xbox360 or PS3

If only they knew how'd much i'd pay for a ff7/8//9 remake. But yes ff13 itself was underwhelming, i didnt even feel the need to max out on stuff after beating it like the others, nor is it fun to max out stuff.

maxing out stuff is pretty easy, especially when you make the blue adamant dinosaurs appear. just take them all down and you'll have all the best gears in no time. there wasnt much free-roaming aside from the side quests. but i was reading Game Informer's review of FFXIII-2 (not Versus) and they did note that free-roaming element was added (back) into the series.

If you want classic free-roaming (j)RPG style games like the ones made for the SNES/PS1, then I would suggest grabbing a handheld gaming device. There's one that plays classic ROMs, or you can get the DS.

I Loved the story and the characters and the battle system, altough Im not huge fan of the fact that they're making XIII-2.

And leave Snow alone, Vanille is ten times more annoying with her weird accent! besides Lightning and Fang are hot. But other than that, the story was great!

Only thing that did irritate me was how long it takes to max out equipment and get gil to make that equipment. Still never got that Trophy..

I was looking around for versus XIII stuff and found this.

It's also going to be out next year, but the date isn't set. Tetsuya Nomura said it will be released after Type-0 and XIII-2.

Yeah. The storyline is great and the graphics are, of course, top of the line but it is true that it was pretty linear compared to past FF games. As far as characters go, I was really annoyed by Hope's stupid jacket and Snow's retarded front bangs/fringe.

Honestly, i prefered the combat system before FFX-2. I quit this game before i even reached 20% of the storyline.
