Stopped after beta, since without premium account you will not gain enough credits to go onto next tier tank when you unlock it.

It's 2500 gold for 30 days. And gold costs way too much.

imo great for playing several games when you get bored. I worked my way up to a tier 6 tank so far. I heard tier 7/8 and above stops getting profitable if you don't have premium (because ammo and repairs cost so much).
Fun game, though it could use some more work imo

Just note, it's a little bit of a grind. It might feel like ages to get to some higher tier tanks. Once you find the style of tank that you like, the feeling of the grind lessens, though it's still grindy.

All depends on playing style I personaly have the German Tank Destroyer's and the german heavy tanks

Tank destroyers are more like camping tanks big guns But no turrets
Panzer 2 leads into the meduim and heavy tank lines

Only the lower tier tanks get those guns. Tier 3 tanks and above do not have that (one or two tier 3 and 4 tank have them, but nobody really uses them).

Choose one that fits your playstyle.
Light Tank: extreme maneuverability and speed. (None so far have gone above tier 5, you will hit medium tanks probably)
Medium Tank: Good all around imo, though it would excel in speed over other tanks at high tiers.
Heavy Tank: Very Good armor and very good firepower. Poor speed.
Tank Destroyer: Medium maneuverability (low in the lower tiers), extremely high firepower, decent armor, lack of turret.
Artillery: Super long range. Extremely high firepower. Almost no maneuverability and armor.

The panzer 2 can lead to both medium and heavy tank lines.

well its a tank destroyer so make sure you don't charge head in with it stay back and snipe as much as you can you provide cover fire let the direct asault go to the Meduim's and Heavy's

Shouldnt be that hard since you have premium tank. I can make like 2mil in KV-5 with just few hours playing. Try to play Team company, more money and with good group its like 80% victories.
