Can't believe people are actually paying those prices to get the game :)

Key words: collection, pack, etc... They're bundles of games.

Still, I get a monthly paycheck of $350, can't really afford to give out like ~$74 for a collection of games

Did you look at how many games are offered? And how much it's on sale? Perfect example the Valve pack. It's less than Portal 2 at normal price.

Also Steam crashed. lol

I did, and I still wouldn't buy any of those because I don't want to play most of the pack's games, it is a great deal, Yay - I can imagine its amazing for those who would buy games even without the sales.

It's back up and working for me, just gotta hit refresh a whole bunch of times.

Some of the packs sound awesome though. Guess i'll have to wait to actually check them out.

I'd suggest waiting til the end of the sale if you plan on buy any packs. Sometimes they go even cheaper. That is if this Summer Sale will have daily summer sales.

Beware if you don't wanna waste money, if you own games, you don't get extra copies to gift to friends if you buy it in one of the bundles.

It was $6 or so earlier with GMOD even though CSS alone was $13. Don't question our overlords on pricing.
