Both for 40$, worth it? I just suddenly grew back interest in the Assassin's Creed series, should I invest?

for 40 bucks sure, but if you had to pick one have it be brotherhood, ac2 is not nearly as awesome.

Ugh, the people selling those 2 games aren't replying to my emails, but I found another seller that'll sell both the games for 50$.
I'm looking at other options now though, like COD:BO(40$), Splinter Cell: Conviction(20$), etc. Too many games, not enough money ):

PC or console? PC AC2 is less then $30 (as with Xbox and PS3) and ACB is less the $50 (Xbox and PS3 are $55)
All on newegg. If it is both for $50 do it. If it is each you are getting ripped off.

Whatever you do, don't buy this game! It's a horrible abomination compared to the early SC games.

Splinter Cell Conviction was extremely fun. Ive played past SC's, and I really enjoyed it. Everything was well done, from the way they displayed objectives without interrupting the flow of the story to the way the made Fisher move and operate. Co-Op was pretty fun too.
I got tons out of the game, and I still miss playing it even after getting almost every achievement and playing it on the highest difficulty.
So id recommend it for sure, especially that cheap.

But it isn't splinter cell anymore. In the older splinter cells you had to atleast think how you will travel through the liniar levels .But in conviction the stealth aspect is so messed up, hell you got a level where you are handed an assault rifle and the game turns completly into a chest-high-wall-shooter. All other times you are basically told "press x to stealth" or you can let the super awesome cutscene animation do your work and take out enemies.
And CO-OPs are fun everytime, every game turns into fun when you play with a friends. Even in the worst game on earth you could still make jokes about how bad it is and find yourself think that it was a funny experience afterwards.

I guess I always challenge myself to be stealthy if thats the concept of the game, so Id make a point to be unseen and play like you should. I only went guns blazing when the game basically forced you to in a certain area.
Anywho, Its up to the player which is why I like it. I chose to be stealthy and sneak by, and its not linear to force you to be that. So yea, its not like the old SC. It still allows you to play that way if its your style, which is why i enjoyed it. I like how they presented everything.
And Ive played several games that sucked, even with friends. And yes, Id joke and maybe make the most of it. But i wouldn't recommend it to people if that was the case.
