ok guys i wanted to know your opinion about games what are the best games for xbox or ps3 choose 5 ~ 10 but make sure you mention xbox or ps3 before =) and also a small poll about the best console!! and say why you choose that console if you can :d

They're right though, by asking that second question you're storming towards an useless consolewar which only results in even more people upping their postcount.

To not make a same post as them I'll make a little list.

Xbox 360:
1: Halo franchise
2: Mass Effect franchise
3: Fable franchise

PS3:
1: Killzone franchise
2: Metal Gear Solid franchise
3: Uncharted franchise

Multiplatform:
1: Assassins Creed franchise
2: Call of Duty franchise

As you can see the best games IMO are the exclusive ones, ofcourse I like games like AC and CoD alot too.

(Note: ME is not a xbox exclusive since ME2 is on pc/ps3 too but I think ME1 is exclusive to the xbox. PC might have it too though.)

@xmoshe thanks but what about god of war :O ?? to be honest i never had time to get my own console but i got some free time nowadays wanted to get one.. so im really confused should i go xbox or ps3 =/ ... kinda tricky

God of War is a good franchise too. The reason to get either a ps3 or xbox is exclusives IMO. Unless you are a big movie fanatic and you want to kill two birds with one stone for the bluray player in the ps3 ofcourse. At the time Halo was the reason for me to get a xbox instead of going for a ps2. But yes, I also own a ps3 now to play the exclusives on there.

i have both 360 and ps3 and ive got to say that imo 360 comes out on top in a lot of areas

Online service is much better on the Xbox but ok you're right. If you don't play that much and want to be able to play online when you do play a ps3 would be better since you don't have to pay the 60$ a year.

My 360 hasn't been used for anything but dvds and streaming stuff from my PC for about 2 years.

I grabbed the PS3 on the idea, as Tosh said; there is the remote control also it has games that aren't provided to the PC users. Like xmoshe, the choice is ultimately decided by the exclusives and which you prefer to play; inFamous, KZ, Resistance, God of War, Demon Souls, etc.

Also, if you are looking to play with friends, find out what they play most, do they all run 360's or are they all playing on PS3's? This last question was a big deciding factor for me personally.

I'm not really following that remote control? Do you really mean a remote control like for a tv/dvd player or the move stick? Because the xbox has/had a dvd player like remote too o.O

Oh I'd also like to mention that 360 allows indie games whereas Sony allows companies to publish their "DLC" for free. Also to mention that PS3 will have Steamworks soon to be on the PS3 so I probably assume we can see (At least I hope) other Valve games on the PS3.

Just a note to say Gabe(Owner of Steam/Valve) said it was a hassle to work with the PS3 and he's with it now probably because Microsoft wouldn't allow them to publish Steamworks/updates for free or something.

Really depends on what you want off your console.

But they listed it as a reason for a ps3, but both got game controllers? lol

Obviously they're the same.

Ok I get it now that they mean the differences in the controller. But when someone says a remote control a normal person would think of a device what you use to change channel/volume etc...

PS3 has two of those.

I love my ps3 I briefly considered getting xbox 360 for halo 3(I love the halo series) but read up on how a paying lil extra for ps3 once saved me a lot more money l8r on, so decided to go with ps3, never regretted it since. Some of my most favorite games:

1> Metal Gear Solid 4
2> inFamous
3> Valkyria Chronicles( you might be put off by the anime thing but the gameplay is quite fun)
4> God Of War 3(only GoW game I've played and yes its awesome )
5> Killzone 2 (I prolly wont get the 3rd game, gfx seem the same and plot is crap as per all reviews)
6> Final Fantasy 13.

I give you one good reason to buy ps3: Gran Turismo 5.

Also IMO ps3 has better controller.

One thing to pick a xbox over a ps3 is the updates or things you download. You always have to download them first and then install, even a demo rofl xD With the xbox you can play right away after it's done.

PS3 controller is so annoying for me. When I try to play NHL 11 I go to shoot the puck and my thumb slips off the joystick. Concave joysticks would prevent this from happening, which is why I prefer the 360 controller.

I'll be honest, I haven't played it personally but from what I have heard and read it's not that great of a game that took like 9 years? to develop. It's more a car enceclopedia (sp?) with the ability to try the different cars than a racing simulation.

L4D's DLC were meant to be free on the 360, but they weren't allowed apparently. I remember reading a tl;dr post, but I forgot the exact details other than L4D lol.

I was never into driving simulators but GT5 changed that. I also bought Logitech G25 steering wheel. Amazing!
