I don't understand how a trailer can make you want a game, all game trailers are amazing, that doesn't reflect the game itself

What's so special about this game other than endless hours of gameplay?

Everyone wants what they can't have. Until they get it and realize it's crap.

OT: OMG I WANT IT NOW!!!

It's not the game trailer (hell, it doesn't even show any form of gameplay) but the simple fact that it's another TES. A good history of installments is a plus for me. I fully enjoyed my gametime on Morrowind and Oblivion. So knowing how well Bethesda has delivered on past TES, I can personally say I am excited on this one.

Here is some confirmed information about TES V.

(Note: translated from Dutch so might be a little off hehe)

    - Leveling past level 50 is alot slower
    - New game engine and graphics with dynamic shadows, 'real snow' (no standard texture on the ground), modified (better) models for characters (faces will show more emotion), trees and branches will move seperately from eachother in the wind and there will be flowing water.
    - There will be civil wars
    - It's possible to start a duel with virtually anyone you encounter during the game
    - Dynamic quests (depending on your past (what you have done in the game, where you have been and what level you are)
    - Running backwards will go slower than running forward
    - Ten different races to choose from when creating a character
    - Confirmed monsters: zombies, skeletons, trolls, giants, giant spiders, dragons, wolves, mammoths, horses (lol?), sabretoothtigers and 'Ice Wraiths'.
    - Five big cities
    - More variation in underground areas/dungeons
    - Possibility to turn of the HUD while in first person mode.
    - Modified 3rd person perspective (it was kinda shitty in Oblivion wasn't it xD)
    - NPC's will act alot more real during convo's. They continue working and will look you in the face once in a while and move around etc. The zoomed in convo style will be removed.
    - Unique areas (like special temples/dungeons?)
    - Improved possibilities while making a new character.
    - New combat system: possible to use two handed weapons, dual wielding or carrying a weapon with one hand and using magic with the other.
    - Finishing moves, unique for every weapon and/or enemy.
    - The story takes place in Skyrim, two centuries after TES IV: Oblivion. You are a 'Dragonborn', a dragon hunter.
    - Sprint option
    - 18 different skills
    - Unlocking of 'perks'
    - Five different kinds of magic: Destruction, Alteration, Conjuration, Restoration en Illusion. Mysticism will be removed.
    - Killing a shop owner will influence your relation with the NPC who will later take over that shop.

Fck.. i wanted to complete skyrim by just running backwards.

They've lost themselves my order.

I've played Oblivion for countless hours, its an excellent game and its probably fairly cheap these days too. Morrowind is a bit older and although I've never played it, it is also meant to be incredible. I'd recommend getting both of them. Due to the huge modding community, they are both much better on PC though.

Play it. You will not be let down. Trust me, just play it. If your PC is too weak either A. Get it for a console ASAP or B. Buy a new comp.
