I want a 360 but I don't want to spend 300$
What is the cheapest place I can get it?

Wait for the 360 Slim, should be coming out next month for about the same price as the regular one.

I rant all the time about the 360 but sadly I have 2 =( only use them for netflix streaming

Craiglist doesn't seem like a great idea if you're meeting up at a place that cannot test it out.

Most people you get on there will let you enter their home to see that it works... Just make sure the poster's email or name does not have cpinney in it anywhere. You're just asking for trouble if it does.

As for me, I'm rather hesitant to buy a used 360. I'd rather pay the extra 100 dollars or whatever and know that it'll work then take the risk of potentially being scammed. *shrugs*

Wonder if RROD can still happen on the new Slim? Because it has way more "vents" now so I doubt it will overheat.

Someone was telling me they already were getting rrod. Dunno if they were lying or heard a rumor or what though.

the new 360 slim is like 500 AUD ... No idea why u would get one if you have a 360 tbh. I reckon the cheapest place to get one is eBay.

Smaller/bigger and built in hdd/wireless connection built in etc...I still wouldn't pay the 250 euro for it cuz mine works great but it's nice if you earn alot of money to switch them out.

Only xbox 360s with the older chipset will RROD. I suggest googling it online.

On the barcode there is a string of numbers and letters that can help you figure out what model you're buying. I checked the barcode before I bought mine and I have never had problems with RROD despite playing all the time. I used to leave it on for days at a time too.

I too did this.

If you want a cheap XBox, they are trying to sell all the older versions before the slim comes out.

Google XBox Arcade. Can get one for I think $150. Of course it doesn't have the huge hard drive etc.

Only good thing about the slim is the built in wifi and the very sexy look

O so the slim has it already? I thought you would have to buy separately either way, but thats great news too I might just buy one myself, better to get that then buy one of those wifi thingies for $100 and kinetic for $140.

Edit: just checked gamestop it is $150, and it may drop the price isn;t 100% so you could pre-order now and if price drops they will charge the new prices. But the games for it looks pretty lame.
