Strategic multiplayer game?

Hey all,
I'm looking for a simple strategic game like C&C:Generals (Zero Hour).
Really liked this game, but it's getting old.
Any new ones like this or some I have to try?

starcraft 1, soon 2
age of empires 2, 3
empire earth 1,2,3
Civilization (any) [turnbased though]
The Settlers. I think The heritage of kings was said to be the best.

didn't like the game as a whole but the allied and soviet campaigns kept me interested

Try Total Annihilation with some mods like UTASP (spelling?) or Spring (3d TA) or the Pack. Should give you quite some playtime.

LoL is hella strategic for 1:30 when you use every social engineering tactic you have to get that moron to not go tryndamere. Metagame son.
