Hey guys,

I need a headset with the output from my PS3 (chat) AND my TV (in-game sound).
Now I saw some Turtle Beach headphones, but they don't have 5.1 sound, which I would like because I'm spending quite a lot of cash anyway.

So my question is: do there exist headphones like this with 5.1 sound?

If I remember correctly, Tritton AX720 simulates 5.1, while their Pro is actual 5.1. I have the 720, and it works great for me.

bought my triton yesterday. It's amazing.

lol, I've used a Rock band mic. It was funny. I need a new headset also. Every time they get restocked, they are sold out.. it's ridiculous.

Guys, I found a good headset for myself.

Sharkoon X-Tatic headset.

Now I know there are some different ones, but I can't find the differences between them.

X-Tatic Digital / X-Tatic Analog

Does anyone has experience with one of these?

i have an x-tatic digital, the only difference is that the digital has optical input, and the analog doesn't. for a ps3, get a digital since the analog doesn't even work on it

Bought the Sharkoon X-Tatic Digital today, I will inform you later guys!

OMG the sound quality is bad as hell!
The bass performs well, but that's the only positive.
Mid and high tones are really terrible.
My Sony Bravia TV performs better than this headset

Maybe I forgot to press a button or that kind of shit, but what my ears are hearing right now can't be good.

Does anyone have an advice for me, please?!

Sound quality is Farking awesome here, i have x360, ps3 and a wii too, even though i regret buying a wii. Check my pm.

Btw, did you enable 5.1 surround and put it as your main output device (disable everything else)

yes I did and tried alot of other options.
Will bring this 1 back to the shop tomorrow and get another 1 to see if it's production failure. Else: buy Earforce PX21 and screw 5.1

Yeh I thought so, but I hope I can hear if someone is in front of me or behind me with px21's

Some friend said to me I have to put down the volume of the SCU.
Can someone try to put the volume of the SCU at MAX to check if you also have a bad quality, pl0x!

huh? i never touched my SCU, i only control it via the remote on the cable (the hand thingy)

Yes you can my beach turtles saved me a lot of deaths in cod4 and sound whoring ftw lol
