Has/does anyone play oblivion with the mod OOO?
Can someone share some tips with me on how to start effectively, as well as some good builds, I read it was difficult, and I want some help.

Oscuro's oblivion overhaul?
Yeah it is a lot more challenging than the original game. What class/build are you using

I'm playing with FCOM at the moment, but the same stuff is true for OOO. Use either restoration or alchemy as a major. Also use one armor skill, one weapon skill and block. If you want ranged combat, get either destruction or marksman: destruction is more usable overall. Pick what you want for the remaining major slots.
A good money-saving major would be armorer. If you don't pick security as a major, type "set lapnocombatlock to 0" into the console when you start so you can pick locks. Also, have fun mate.

Here was my plan:
Wood Elf
Endurance (or Agility) and Speed
Sign of the Thief
Marksman
Sneak
Blade
Block
Light Armor
Illusion
Conjuration
But I changed sign to Warrior
Picked Endurance
Changed Conjuration for alteration. Keeping alchemy as a strong minor, using it a lot unnecessarily so it grows quick. Using 1x skill progression rather than 1/2x

Arnt you supposed to pick the stats you dont want so you can do the efficient leveling crap?
But I might be completely lost since its been years since I played.

Well it's OOO, so there isn't any efficient leveling crap. Monsters aren't leveled.

If going for a warrior type build wouldn't heavy armor be more effective? Or if going a hybrid sneak/warrior I suppose that would be good but maybe alchemy would be more useful than block/illusion if you're also taking marksman on top of blade.
- and in regards to security, its pointless as a major when you factor in the skeleton key
