Woke up this morning to read an E-Mail containing this:

As a beta test participant, you’ll have the chance to experience the multiplayer gameplay of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty and explore the social-networking, matchmaking, and other new features of the revamped Battle.net® online-gaming service. Throughout the StarCraft II beta, you’ll be able to take part in cooperative and competitive battles as the terrans, protoss, and zerg -- and at the same time, you’ll be helping us test the stability of the Battle.net service and fine-tune the game balance prior to launch. I registered for it via my Battle.net account. Uploaded my system information a few days ago and got the E-Mail this morning.
My friend is really pissed as he signed up for beta the first day it was announced and hasn't been selected

Hah nah, I thought it was a scam E-Mail first of all as I've been getting a lot claiming to be from Blizzard, so I logged into my Battle.net account to check and Starcraft 2 was listed there. Downloading it now

Been playing it all day. (Starcraft fans, don't kill me) Having no interest in Starcraft and having not played the first game, it was a bit weird as the beta doesn't have single player, so it was a learning curve being thrown straight into a multiplayer game.
Great fun though. Think I'm going to buy this game now actually

Just finished a 1 Vs 1 game. Lasted just under 4 hours. Really fun though.

I got my key 2 weeks after I registered.
And, just under 4 hours? My games never take longer than 20 minutes.
And those games Husky and HD put on youtube are usually under 30 minutes.
So a 4 hour game is wtf?

I forgot about this thread. When I saw it I immediately checked my e-mail and saw I had something from blizzard. Clicked it and realized it was something else -_-

If people want videos/screenshots, i can make some.
I also recommend people to go to HDstarcraft and HuskyStarcraft youtube channels, they have alot of commentated replays.
