Hi after about my second game my characters teleports all over the place then i get disconnected from xbox live. This along with not being able to find matches are my problem. But i fixed finding matches by wiping the cache. But i still have the disconnection problem. This only started happening after the game update and the map pack download. Help please!!

Sorry about double post but after being on the computer for a while i have noticed my router randomly turns off then turns back on -_-
How do i fix this i have a netgear wireless cable modem gateway CG814WG. This is obviously why i have been dc'ing from xbox live.

I had that too and fixed it by drilling a hole in the wall and getting a wired connection.

Hehe I got no idea how to fix that shit, but it could also been the IW servers cuz they fcked up with the update yesterday.

dam, its defintly not the IW servers as im only on my computer now and its happening. What can i do!

Well, untill some pc wizard gets in this topic I'd google around.

First try hitting the reset button for 30 seconds and reset up the router. If it continues, try updating the firmware.

Firstly, is your router set up to Port Forward for MW2? or is it in the DMZ? Hint : When playing online, it should say Nat Type: Open, other wise that will cause problems even if it's moderate, and if it says strict, you will never be the host and sometimes get kicked if the host isn't trusted, by your connection.
