I love the knifes and jetpacks,gonna spice up the Multiplayer part of this game.

Lol yeh that one xD I love the Halo universe but I'm kinda done with Halo3 so I want some new multiplayer experience.

they said ODST was supposed to be a new game too...this seems like that...so what is this Halo 5? i got bored during Halo 3...im just gonna ignore this...

Really? Where did they say that? ODST was to be an expansion, that's why it has Halo 3 in the name.

No, Halo Reach is before Halo 1.
Reach is about Noble team. They are a group of Spartans. There may be references to the Master Chief and other Spartans, but you will play as one of Noble team.

Some of those moves looked like gears of war. lol Should be a good game. I still have my odst disc that I haven't touched since I bought it.

This is seriously gonna be Epic.

I really hope that you play as multiple different spartans during the campaign cause they all look so cool.

Might buy this, I got kinda bored off Halo 3, it was fun, but I guess I had funnier games to play...

So I'll buy this when I get bored of every other game I have.

I am going to predict right now that number 6 is master chief.

But the multiplayer looks sick. They added a lot of new things. especially the map size from the looks of it. I think I am going to get ODST in April so I can play the beta. Should be fun having special abilities and assassinating people.

I agree it would be nice to see other spartans in the campaign instead of just john going rambo and running around by himself.

hopefully it has a better multiplayer than halo 3.
from the video, i hope a lot of that stuff is equipment that can be turned off via settings.
if so, and the "new badass" assassination animations don't force you to stand still for any period of time, and there isn't issues of dropping bullets, should be a good game like halo 1&2 were.

i heard they were bringing back health packs and hitscan though, so sounds good to me.

That actually doesn't look too bad... but considering this is halo it will probably still manage to suck.

I am pretty sure halo padded their numbers a little. I remember seeing the number being way to high at such an off time of the day. I think it was at 4 a.m central and it was extremely high. It did not add up.

Mmm, maybe. I think all games pad their online statistics. I don't think MW2 was able to stay at above 500,000 people during the superbowl game. But I could be wrong.

I guess.. it is just an awkward time for the rest of the world to be up and playing. But I don't know, I usually keep these conspiracies to myself.

But Ontopic, does anyone know if ODST is cheaper now? I knew that this beta would interest me, but I don't want to get a game that only adds a little to the story to cost me the same price as a complete game.

45 Euro in the online shop I usually buy from (www.bol.com) Might be cheaper in other shops. IIRC it never was 60-70 euro in the first place.

This one looks way better than ODST. I thought ODST was quite bad actually.

ODST used the Halo3 engine thingy, Reach has a whole new one...Watch the Vidoc, they'll explain how much more they have to generate things with, the details etc.

Well it's a prequel to Halo 1 so it's not exactly Halo 4.
Here is a thread that has almost all the info on Reach.

it is not a prequel to halo 1. most of the story (if uve read the books) is actually taking place simultaneously as the events of halo1. for the intents and purposes of the game itself i would call it halo4 rather than halo5. odst was more like a halo3.5 or 2.5 if u go by the story line again.
