LF title of an awesome strategy game

I am writing about Genghis Khan in my final paper, and it made me remember an awesome strategy game which was about the wars in ancient China.
I really only vaguely remember the game, I think I played the demo. In the demo you had a big city with very big walls. You could post archers on top of the wall and there was a 'teleport' to the enemy's city which would make you switch mini map as well.
As said earlier the game focuses primarily on wars between the Asian dynasties. It is not Age of Empires III: Asian Dynasties
I know I am very vague in my wording, and that hurts me more than you considering I really want to play this game again.
I would appreciate any help and I'll try to answer question as detailed as possible if you have any.
The game is probably 8+ years old.
Thanks
