Hey guys,

Since my new GT I have really gotten into MLG and Pro Gaming altogether.

Anyone here like it? Follow it? Consider themselves Pro's? A sport or not?

I have to say I love it and engulfing mass amounts of their media has improved my game tenfold.

So, thoughts?


P.S. - My new GT - CIassicaIIy (Classical in all forms was taken, so was Classically, tho my GT does look better on Halo 3/MW 2 because the I's look like l's) Add if you guys want.

MLG is full of shit...its full of ppl from 18-23(general age) who think they are gods at video games. I hate when gaming becomes in super large tourneys because they're never fun! I prefer the older times when consoles didnt have lan or internet gameplay and all you had was the computer. I'd love to sit down with my favorite Squad "Fighting-25th" and play some F-22 Lighting 3 and shot down some n00bz and mod the ini file so u could have 255 nukes. Gaming competition is better not being official, you have more fun that way try it sometime

i used to follow mlg in halo 2, and about a year into halo 3 for a few months.
it's really great for halo 3 and it was great for halo 2 as well.
and yeah, if you get into it and try to get better there's a lot of ways mlg can help you with that. from vod, to the forums, to the playlist itself.

was a huge final boss/team 3d/stk fan back in the day. mostly because of the ogre twins and saiyan was a champ.

anyway, when i played halo 3 i got lucky in the playlist and got matched with Heinz (tD now afaik), pretty cool kid. also played against legit (str8 rippin)

you really can't be competitive in any halo game without being into mlg.

Truthfully, not being harsh or anything, you wouldn't make it very far.
I have a hard time against BK generals but pros are insane.

I never said I wanted to go pro, all I said was I like MLG.

It's like watching football, just because I watch it and am a fan of it means I want to be a professional football player?

No need to try and exert that your better then me by saying I suck and displaying your stats?

Ah I love that, still play that game to this date...those tactical nukes are fun. Graphics arent that bad really, love the game play, im a Novalogic whore though.

I'm not saying I'm good, because I'm not, I'm just showing how good pros are.
And I misunderstood about not wanting to go pro, no need to start assuming things as I did.

MLG Is shit, they need to play real games not that shit called Halo. Maybe if they put, or had good games like Socom 2, it might be entertaining.
