lol idk why people hate it so much. Yes it is a web client, and there are no skills you just hit. But before 2007, when they did the gay updates it was a pretty kool place, the company kept bots under control, people were pretty nice, and making money was easy

Runescape is actually a nice game? My brother has been playing it for a few years and some guys from my class are also playing it with him. I still play it now and then.

I used to play runescape heaps before I started sro. However, I managed to forget my account details . I ended up remaking an account that I play every now and then. I'm level 77 on my new guy atm. I like the game, but I get bored of it quickly so I end up taking long breaks, until I get an urge to log back in. Most of the mid/high level content is members only so that is a bit disappointing. I can't get myself to play the game long enough of even thinking of becoming one. :p

Yeah your one of them . Your just jealous, and you cant remember your login details. But really the game is fun, I find it more enjoyable than Silkroad in some ways, Silkroad combat was more fun but I enjoy the skills on Runescape. Just working to a goal and building up my little fortune. The community is give and take like SR and most likely any other user base. A lot of stupid kids but usually just turn public chat off. Also enjoy the quests, some have weird plots but at least its not kill X many of X. The mini games are amusing too, at least some. Been wanting to try the newish Mobilizing Armies, which is a RTS like mini game, looked fun. While some of the skills can be tedious, still fun. Most of it involved clicking over and over but working to the goal makes it so its not so annoying. Atm im working on catching 12,000 fish. Not sure why people hate it so badly, all I can imagine is they hear it from others, or maybe the PvP thing scared them off, I don't mind what they did. I dont play the game to fight other people, outside mini games like castle wars. Have other games to do that stuff on. Its not safer now really, the revenants are annoying and tough up in the top of the wilderness. Might be a bit easier to run around, since you can just use protection prayer to avoid their long range attack. Only thing I can really complain about is wish i had more luck on it, never get anything good. Think my ring of wealth is screwing me over.

The only big turn off for me is that Jagex is bot crazy. They will do ANYTHING to stop RWT, and bots. Like taking out the old pk system, dueling, and putting a trade limit. The game isn't as fun to me as it was around 2005-06 but it is not as bad as some people put it. I don't understand why srf members don't like it, it is one of the only games with bots under control

I played Runescape like.... a LONG time ago.

The game is actually quite nice. And for sure its the best web-browser game available. However, I still prefer silkroad more

I don't think I'll come back and play runescape like... for real but I have nothing bad to say about the game
