Too hard to tell, but the graphics seem like an improvement. I ignored ODST, and it seems like a good choice. No one plays that anymore.
But I will give this one a shot, at least it might have a somewhat different story :/

It's like you don't even notice that they took the 3 off and added Reach to it. Fabulous. /sarcasm I hope the story is a decent length not 3hours like ODST.

The campaign length in ODST was short because its a mini-campaign. It wasn't a stand alone game.
So far the graphics are better than Halo 3. In the second picture, it looks similar to a needler but it has a bunch of other stuff on it. Needler Rifle? Also in the third pic it looks similar to a Battle Rifle, but not quite. Although since we don't any more info, the third pic could actually be a BR. I'm noticing the reticule is different from the BR. In a couple of the other pics the reticule of the weps familiar to us are the same, so it might actually be a new wep. Only time will tell.

Yeah, to me it looks like a combination of a carbine rifle with a needler.

O wow another one. After Bungie really is just milking it they are gonna make these halo's with the same guns and a bit of a different story line, but the thing is they are selling like crazy still. I for one and def. not buying this!

i don't really care about the graphics, but i'm hoping this game brings a mp experience similar to h1/h2. h3 got plain somewhat quickly.

For what i heard, sopost to be before Halo 1 story, guessing there going more then one Master Chief looking guy, before the war started.

It's going to be a prequel. Halo Reach will cover the events prior to Halo 1, the beginnings of the Spartan project and the battle for Reach.

Me thinks this could be pretty good. I never got to playing h2&h3 but I've heard the story dying off... Bungie took it's time making this one though... I think it's gonna turn out good... I think the prequel's story is pretty interesting.

Don't worry 343 Industries is going to make more Halo stuff. xD (Info for people who don't know: 343 Industries is a Microsoft-run group dedicated to make Halo games and other Halo related content. They will continue to make Halo games even when Bungie is not.)

yeah so true they are starting to milk it now. ODST for sure, especially the $60 price tag for a mini campaign side story.
They should have at least one other spartan soldier in Halo: reach, that would be pretty cool. It gets boring without ever seeing someone like yourself

Well, I thought it was funny that the MW2 game was leaked in France after 402 ( the community manager) was JUST there.
Irony.
It looks better, but still needs to prove me wrong on a lot of different aspects than just blurry pictures.

Well if you ask me its going to be book related. Halo : Fall of Reach was one of the books of the Halo series. What happens in it involves an assload of covenant looking for something buried beneath a mountain, and a group of marines defending a satellite base. At that time (Before Halo Combat evolved) there were many other Spartans, which help defend Reach before 117 shows up. If the game is based off the book, expect the opening cut scene to start with ODST's and a few Spartans burning through the atmosphere, landing in a jungle...

if they do it from the first book it would start around there training before they got the suits hopefully also there will be all the other spartans, they all have different ablities fast, strong etc so multiplayer may involve classes

Did you hear the end? We have SpartanS on the ground. If this is not based on the book, then IDK what it is, because spartans had been long extinct before Halo CE (Besides 117) Reach was a planet that got blown up by the covenant, the planet in the trailer is being blown up...and the game just so happens to be called Halo: Reach...
