I need a racer with some nice tracks through forest and/or snow. maybe with rain or something. You know...just not in stupid official arenas or towns. It's been more than 10 years since I last saw a game like that...
I just need something where I can enjoy the dirt of my wheels shooting up, slipping and the danger of rolling over.
please not any new games, my computer sucks too much.

If you want something like super old, there is Network Q RAC Rally (or something like that).
I remember playing that as my first ever PC game. But err yeah, thats probably a bit old. Tracks were really good though.

Theres a rally section to the game, aswell as a few tracks inside forests if that counts. Cant remember if there were any snow tracks though.

Thank you Master_of_Puppets! I got Colin McRae Rally 2005. It's really good! I'm very happy they fixed the weight issues the cars had in the 03 DEMO. Now the game is pretty much complete (some music couldn't hurt, but hey, nothing is perfect).

Colin Mcrae is awesome.
If you have a PS2 you can check out WRC (World Rally Championship), I played the demo alot, it's pretty damn good and it had good reviews. There are 3 sequels I think.
And if you get the chance on a newer system try Colin Mcrae Dirt 1 or 2, I just got it last week and it's great.
