1. Online is mostly dead, very few people online, you may be able to find a few good parties/matches though, depends on the time of day.
2. Its especially worth playing for LAN parties, granted you have a lot of friends IRL.
I personally liked it for the modding, but then I moved to Halo 2 on the Xbox, that was years ago xD.

Official Halo online is pretty dead. I think Halo CE is still alive and well though. Its worth playing with friends, other than that...not really lol.

oh thats a bummer. I really want to play halo 2 and 3, the storyline is pretty engaging. Too bad im probably never going to get an xbox

Too many kids, not to be played online. Storyline is EH! Why can't you get a 360? =l they're only $250 with the 20 GB HDD.

Halo 1 multiplayer is dead yea but Halo CE is where most play.

Anyone on here place Halo PC still? I know ppl said it is dead but this is a game where it is 8v8 so you don't need much activity to play. Alot of good servers are still active 24/7. About 1500 players average all day.
[FI] SNAPPA is what I play under. [FI] = Frag Inc my gaming clan. Mostly play pubs now that almost all the HaloPC leagues are gone (CAL, TWL, KW). If any of y'all still play you can usually find me in the 1EV server during SRO inspections.
CE is custom edition. Players can make their own maps. ALOT of them come out sh!tty but there have been some good ones. Real good ones.
BTW... if ya got the game and haven't used it in awhile load it up. They patched it so once you update it you won't ever have to use the disc again. I framed my old disc. lol.

Yah, Halo 1...best of the Halo series, you can't beat it. This game is what led to it all...all of those 14 year old boys tryin to get gfs from 40 year old pedos XD nah nah jk jk lol but yah, I do enjoy the first one the most, cuz duel wielding? meh not as useful as u think

I still play Halo PC a few times each week. The gamer tag in my sig is what I use. Mostly play in the 1EV server.
