Can i say finally ? Yeah i know the video was posted on youtube almost a month ago. But i saw it just now and i'm glad.The Witcher was an awesome RPG (it kinda felt like a movie sometimes) but its still great.

September 23, 2009 - The recent release of a confidential, internal video from CD Projekt has confirmed that the company is working on a sequel to the popular action RPG, The Witcher. The new game, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, is currently being shopped around to publishers, which is how the video found its way onto the net.
The new video shows off a number of the technical improvements and a brand new engine, including better normal and parallax mapping and improved lighting elements. It also includes a new dialogue and camera system that, based on the video, shows a much more cinematic view of the interactions. Player behavior will have a significant impact this time around, both for good and for bad, and the NPCs will be driven by their own agendas which could make them for or against Geralt.
Combat now includes more dynamic and bloody finishing moves with loads of physics based action. The movie showed Geralt flinging enemies off a high plateau in a scene that reminds us a lot of great games like Jedi Knight.
Since the video's release the developers have come out and made a few official comments on it, explaining that the version shown in the video is a very early alpha which doesn't showcase all the technical improvements, include final voices and reveals none of the compelling story.
Since the game is so early in development and has, as yet, no confirmed publisher, CD Projekt declined to offer a release date. The company also cautioned gamers not to expect much in the way of further information or momentum saying that none of that will happen "very soon."
The game has definitely been confirmed for PC and CD Projekt affirmed that it wants to release a console version once a publisher is selected.

I remember trying to install the first Witcher on my old computer and that it didn't work. Was so pissed off cause I just wanted to play a decent RPG for the weekend. It's over a year now and I've lost interest in it. Guess I'll just wait for Witcher 2.

It's true that i liked fable more, but the bastards from lionhead won't make a PC version for Fable 2 or the new fable game in the future <_<

lol i have the witcher cases and game beside me, havent played in awhile I beat it and its good, one of the best new rpgs in awhile, I love the grapx to this game and if The Witcher 2 is gonna have better graphx fux i'll go sli on gtx285 and see what this baby can do, if it intergrated nvidia physx into it itd be godly. lol XD <3 The Witcher, btw if u have the witcher make sure u dld the enhanced edition, ull need ur cd key though btw

Yes hun the Enchanted Edition ... Loved the added missions, but the main storyline was the best. I didn't like the combat at the start ( i prefer plain hack and slash), but i got used to it and it was awesome.

loading times were better XD I bought the game when it first came out so i Stuck with loading screens! ZOmG they took 4ever lol, i like the combat styles, the 3 u get, and when u can critical kind of when the sword turns into a flame, I thought it was pretty nifty, and I like u get a small wep like and axe or nunchucks, and ur regualr sword and then ur witcher sword, it looked so cool with him walking around fully equiped
edit - i know u dont crit when the flame shows but when u click when the flame displays u seem to do a more dramatic attack

Thats the biggest thing i didn't like ... I was like "Ok you have Group attack when you fight with 3-4+ opponents..." But i hated changing the styles and having to look if the mob is big or is it small and you have to hit it with the fast. <_< I liked the Silver sword for monsters and steel for human idea thought. The stat system was also confusing at first, but later on i just focused on Igni and melee.
P.s Raven’s Armor looked nice on Geralt *_*
Edit: I think that you hit harder if you do the combo (flaming sword icon)

It's really called Enhanced and not Enchanted, I think.
I have the first game installed, but I haven't had any time at all to play, it was kind of a turn down when I saw a video saying that the first big city was the main city, or something like that. :\

Enhanced. And I think that's a poor reason to miss an awesome game.

Meh i only call it Witcher because i didn't play the "original"
I actually didn't like the first city because it was confusing,dirty and plain dull. The outside world was a lot nicer.
