Someone give me an update tomorrow about the game.
I am on the 50.50 point of deciding.
I hope MW2 is an a*shole and release something tomorrow. So far everything they release occurs on a tuesday. I would LOVE them to do that tomorrow.

I buy last night at 1am at Walmart i played olmost all night, all day ,and now am about to go sale it at GameStop this week, waste of money don't buy it!

If you want your value for money play thur on legendary other wise youll be dissapointed at the lenght of the game, firefight and the multiplayer disc are worth it kinda

My friend got one of the early copies (he has a modded 360) he finished all achievements and campaign a while ago and he preferred Halo 3 more. I didn't buy it cause it's a waste of $50 to buy this seeing as all they did was make a new story mode and change a few weapons, I see no huge improvement in this game whatsoever.

You suck lol..Yes the game is short but I liked it alot. Together with Firefight and the new maps (including a multiplayer disc) + the lower cost it sure is worth it.

You can't compare CoD with Halo. Sure they are both FPS games but they are in different settings. It's just what appeals the most to you. In my case, I like both settings so I'll be getting MW2 also when it releases.

pretty much this. considering cod has never 'won over halo' and comparing ODST to MW2 isn't really fair by any means. wait until reach at least, as i hear it's going to be a more complete game with an actual MP.

The NFS series become shit once they made Most Wanted. Hot Pursuit 2 is imo still the best NFS game made.

Wish that could happen. As long as that series makes money they won't stop along with Microsoft paying them keeping it an exclusive. Which I honestly see will not happen.. it'll turn into NFS. They'll make a new game every few years, but slowly dying.

Idk I love Cod4 my fav out all cod's(cod5 sucked) i watch some video of the next one and idk my bud told me get when it comes out but looks ok too futuristic i like how they have the map in one of there weaps but am sticking to Cod4...

Halo 1 FTW if he's into the story, if he just wants to bash and kill random people I guess Halo 3 or this, but Halo 3 should be cheaper, unless you want the firefight.
EDIT: I'm assuming your dad's yet to play the 1st halo. That's why I suggest it.

No, but that's because I don't like zombie shit =] I would for ODST, but it includes a short but nice singleplayer campaign so it's totally worth it. Don't forget it also includes the 3 new maps for Halo 3.

I'm almost done playing the game on legendary. Taken me a good 6-7 hrs. Campaign is a little short yes, but its a good story. The cost is a little much but you're getting a lot more things than would come in a normal expansion, since ODST was meant to be an expansion not a full game. Bringing back the hp was pure win. It's always fun trying to kill a pack of brutes with like 1 hp left on legendary.
