You dudes think that all these aion p servers already out are phonies?

I googled around and found this server tell me what u think.

Some arnent fake, you just can't do everything in them yet, like osme you can login and move around but thats it.

Dunno if any are real that work good yet though.

Aion is pretty popular, it's not even really out and pservers have started, I doubt it'll be years ;d.

I usually don't like playing in private servers - except for P2P MMORPGs. Although I only like the ones with low/normal rate and not-so-overpowered items given out to people who "donated."

Private servers for P2P games are so dumb, they only represent like 10% of the actual game

10% of the game? >.>, aside from silkroad, any game i've played a private server on, pay or not has had everything real servers have pretty much, if not more.

Plus sometimes the pay items for ingame currency. Take Luna for example, thats a fairly new game, and theres a private server with higher lvl cap then the real server, even item mall items from an npc ingame and last I was on the offical luna the item mall wasn't even implemented.

Rose Online, can't really say its the same for that, when I played Irose there was lots of stuff you couldn't get at all ingame, but it closed down for good and private servers came with all that stuff, but Arua rose has maps of the newest worls that last I checked wasn't the official game.

Never played L2 official but I think the private servers have the latest updates ffrom the main server, Gracia or something.

Even RO2 private servers have been out for quite a while.

I dunno whats up with Sro, you'd think there would of been fully updated servers after this long.

Actually if they start charging for ANYTHING they can get shut down. Easy way to go around that? Donations. You donate for a donation currency/item. Loophole ftw

I generally don't like pservers. They're not bad or anything, but it usually has the typical list..

-Somewhat laggy
-Not many people
-The "GMs" give out the best items if not better to their friends.
-Their 'donation' shop/list/gear/etc
-Extreme rates

However the pros of it is that..

-Extreme rates(Yeah it's both)
-Try out some characters
-Active GMs
-Events up the ass

Pretty much it. Which is why I prefer the original, because it has a larger user base where it actually matters. Don't get me wrong, but I do like pservers. It's just they're usually fail, because of the shit they do.

The only bad private servers I've been on are the extreme PvP ones. The 500x rates etc. Those get boring fast anyway.

They know that bots in this game will ruin it. I'm sure NCsoft will be a hella more strict with botting in this one. Plus their other games that have bots are down in price and some don't even pay monthly. I doubt they'd care about that considering Aion is fresh and it already has a huuuuuuge user list before the game is even out for NA/EU. I have faith in NCSoft with Aion and keeping bots out if not.. /ragequit lol

Its good for me, I wouldnt say no to try out Aion on a P-Server since I dont have the cash to throw out on a P2P game.

Sorry, I ment good P2P games like Aion and WoW, not those silly P2P games you find on the internet that could be easily beaten by F2P games (games that are better than it, and are F2P). In other words, P2P games that are worth your money.

Worth your money is a matter of opinion, so is your idea of a good game, you even played those games? You even played Aion yet?

Didn't realize L2 was a silly game lol, a pretty successful pay2play game actually. So is RO1, and RO2 most likely will be as well.

I have played WoW, and I do plan on trying Aion when it comes out, but from most people's opinions on Aion, they say its a good game, that must mean something right?

L2 WAS fun, but now its just filled with bots just like SRO(then again people still play ). I haven't played RO1 or 2; so ill take your word for it.

I'd P2P for a F2P game, if it was good, only to screen out the fucktards.

L2 is deserted at this point, I played that game on official for a long time. Not even gold bots play anymore, not enough people play to buy the gold.

Oh and Crim, L2 was by no means a "silly" P2P game. It had a HUGE player base until about the time WoW came out, and from then on it slowly died out.

Oh it was an awesome game in its time. Those massive 50-60 man valakas/antharas raids were just awesome. But it's dead now, and that's undeniable.
