Replay value goes far down once you've played all the classes, and some classes just aren't fun to play after you've played a similar class. (Wizzy/Sorce, Archer/anything else that shoots anything)

Thats why you take your adventures online. 8) I'm currently hosting a server with a semi-roleplay world and 58 playable subraces.

I remember having the game and one expansion where you start at the level 15. I made the character in the expansion, then started the original game with the level 15 char, so I cheated in a way. :P
Still, one of the best RPGs I've played I must admit. Well, any RPG I like I consider a 'one of the best RPGs I've played'. :P
I've been told to play NWN 2 as well, and I do have it but for some reason I don't feel like playing it. :/ I need to be persuaded first!

There's this guy I've met, I believe he goes by Goobronicus (you might know him). He probably plays it.

Stoopid Canadian know-it-all :P

But you're correct. This time.

To add on to what Tal said; the module was not created by us, however it is being adapted by us (to be truthful, mostly Tal do to my schedule) to include more quests, higher lvl cap, hopefully a larger role on good/evil. We'll see how things run. Between the two of us we're fairly busy, but would be more fun with more people of course.

Yes, I actually play NWN a lot. I'm currently playing on an RP module called Ravenloft: Prisoners of the mist. It's a really fun game IMO.

Basically as Goob said, it's a roleplay (not in the hard core "I'm Galstaff the elven wizard from the Red Mist Mountains" kinda way, but more of a choosing to do evil or good things in the world with consequences) module which uses no hak paks as of yet. That means no extra downloads although we may do the community expansion pack 2.3 when it releases in a few weeks if it's stable and doesn't lag like 2.2 does. As already stated there are 58 playable sub races, the biggest part of the modifications will be giving them thier own starting areas where needed (Hill Giants starting in a human based city isn't a good thing, etc). Right now we are in testing phase and the server being hosted is passworded. The world as is has enough quests and storyline to take you to level 40 and give you enough to do for a while (which gives me the time to develop more areas to go to level 60). I'm currently doing alot of tweaks to make it more "persistent", run a bit better, and adding more pertinent player information (the current quests do not give players journal entries so you have to write everything down).

Anyways for those who know NWN, it's a Rhun based server.

It is a vast world of adventure. The largest known city is Etum. The world is separated by a mountain range known as The Wyvern Spine. Etum has trade agreements with some other settlements in Rhun. One such settlement is the Village of Elidor, which lies to the southeast of Etum. Another settlement just started trading ore with Etum. This settlement is located high up in the Wyvern Mountains and is known as the Village of Glacial Hills.

Adventurers are eager to explore the world of Rhun and see what dangers lie within. You may get Recall Stones at your guilds; which is where the recall portal is as well. You may find a half-Orc, with a cart, that is ready to take you throughout Etum... for a price. Bards enjoy playing instruments in Rhun and they provide special gifts for themselves and their comrades... There have been numerous crimes reported so the King has called on the help of the Magistrates... so be careful when committing crimes in Etum. The penalties are severe.

You can buy maps of Rhun at the Etum Capitol building for a hefty fee. As the world of Rhun grows, many citizens are in need of champions to aid them in their quests…those willing to risk the dangers are encouraged to take up the call.

In Rhun we honor our dead. Some try to loot their graves but it only drives them to the side of evil. For the most powerful of champions, there are the Mountain Orcs and the Ice Blade Dwarven Tribe high up in the Wyvern Mountains that have been giving Glacial Hills its share of troubles.

There are many islands around Rhun; one of them is the Island of Taer. A strange desert island with an isolated village called Desert Springs. Not many dwell there fearful of the terrors the island is home to...

To the north lies uncharted forests and wilderness, and mysterious civilizations that it is home to. To the west of the mountain range, lies more jungle and even greater terrors in the form of winged lizards.

And of course not all the monsters dwell in the surface... there are even more dangerous creatures lying await in the darkness of Rhun's Underdark. (More detailed account is written in The Guide Rhun’s Underdark)

In any case there is much for you to do in the World of Rhun.
Enjoy your travels. Watch your back. And keep a hand on your weapon at all times.
