Fable '96 [Download link added]

Machinima just reminded me of this old game.
I don't know if any of you have ever even heard of it... It's an old point 'n click adventure game.you click objects, take and use them, select your dialogue and thus how the story goes.
you play some kid called Quickthorpe. He has (probably because they wanted him gone) been elected by the villagers to go and hunt down the 4 titans that threaten the lands.
the game's style is very nice. the atmosphere comes of very nicely and the slight randomness and sarcastic dialogue makes for a good laugh. the game is mainly a puzzle, where you gotta figure out which objects to use and how/where to use them.

last time I played this I was still a kid, my english was bad so I hadn't noticed at all how great the dialogue was xD
Either way, the game was great fun, if you have the time you really should try it.

yep, well it has been edited slightly so sometimes sentences are mixed, but most of these are the way they are supposed to be...
so, yes, those are the real voices and the real sentences...

I tried the file download, having some trouble with the sounds... am I the only one?
(but heck who cares, I've got the cd anyway -.-)

if you are having trouble with the sound I can only suggest you try searching a different site for the game...
