My friends...the Bungie vs The World playlist is coming on 7/7 and only on 7/7.
It's where teams of 4 people play against teams of 4 Bungie employees.
There are going to be 35 community made maps used for this and you're gonna need the Heroic and the Mythic mappack.
If you're even remotely good at this we should team up and take them out.

Special armor you can only get by completing vidmaster challenges(which you cant do yet cause you need another map pack that hasen't been released) or by getting it from a bungie employee. There are sooooooo many scams people are doing saying they will get you recon armor. lol

This one is actually run by Bungie and it's employees. Yes there are lots of Halo 3 events all with recon armor as the prize. There is only one or a few winners each time. To give some perspective 2 million people have bought the Mythic mappack. With all the events it will take a while to get recon armor as common as CQB, EOD, Security armor etc.

No you just enter the playlist like any other one.

I was thinking that we could get in a party together and try a few times. That way we get to know our strengths and weaknesses so if we don't succeed the first time we have a better chance to win the next. The Bungie employees will have tons of teamwork. The most amount of teamwork I've seen on matchmaking was "You go and get the flag, we will distract them while you bring it back to base." It failed miserably when half the team didn't help. It was 6 on 6, but it's the same idea as 4 on 4 just less teammates.

If we have enough people for more than one party maybe afterward we can post how well we did.

Mythic and heroic, but heroic is free.

So who got the Recon armor? : ) I played a few matches but no Bungie employees found

The maps were pretty fun except a few ofcourse, shame that all the new maps gets veto-ed so you're stuck on the ones you already played >.< bleh

nobody, 180,000 people trying to play 1 team of 4. Like 40 teams of 4 won recon so far.
