Looking for a single player game

As the title says I'm looking for a good single player game.
I have played loads of games (
http://www.xfire.com/profile/bouter/) so preferably not one from that list.
I'm not really in the mood for RTS (unless it's like AOE with a good historical background campaign).
Kind of looking for something like Prince of Persia / Splinter Cell (but more rambo). So something with action.
Would really appreciate it, getting kind of bored atm.

We have Prototype, Assassin Creed, Fallout 3. it's all i recall for now.

Prey Is A Good Game, It Has A Good Story Line And You Can Get It For Below $20(Australian Currency) All Tho I Haven't Tried The Multiplayer On It.
Diablo 1 & 2 Is A Old RPG Game People Still Play Multiplayer And I Haven't Really played The Multiplayer Either Only Been On It For Like 15 Minutes -.-, And The Elder Scrolls Series Morrowwind And Oblivion Are Excellent RPG's And Are Fairly Cheap, They Both Can Be Modded For Custom Made Monster's, Weapons, Amour, Dungeons Etc. And Lastly F.E.A.R And Its Expansion's Just Picked It Up About 1 hour Ago And Is Keeping Me Very Busy...
EDIT: Oh And Mirrors Edge Is What You Want I've Finished It 5 Times Over Great Game

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Gold Pack (or something similar to that... base game+ the 2 expansions) + Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul mod.

warhammer 40k is pretty kick on skirmish mode if you refuse to play with others.

All the splinter cells are fun, for me...could try the Hitman games...those are always interesting.

kk thanks for all your replies, I'm currently looking into prototype, I believe a friend of mine has it so that's nice.
Can't believe I forgot about Mirror's Edge, putting that on the list as well and yesterday evening I decided to order Team Fortress 2. (Such a shame I don't have any of the steam payment options available to me, would've saved me at least 10 euro)

Yup. Sacred 2 does not look good at all.
I've played Sacred 1, i want to try Sacred 2 but on PC, someone playing that? i also know it can go online and play with other players.
