not really, the only good thing about it is their reaction, how they act, they are each more like individuals now compared to before.
example, if you splash one Sim, they will laugh, but some if you splash them, the splash back but worst. etc..... i guess they are more "human"
also, your Sim you can just walk to your next door neighborhood or to the porn shop.
Those two factors what i think are good thing about the game, otherwise it's same as the rest of the sims franchise, however, making custom content is actually one of the best part about Sims games. Unfortunately, making custom content for Sims 3 is a piece of shit, custom content like, new "objects you make yourself" that's why i'm asking if anyone here knows how, of course that is more of a question for those peeps that do play Sims 3 and know how to make new patterns and etc.
also I'm to lazy to fix the grammar errors on this post, i don't really give a **** atm with grammar rules on this post.
but, if any y'all know a "step by step by step for dummies/beginner on how to make new patterns or skintones, or new eyes." tell me about it.
tnx.

The sims 3 is awesome, i love it soooooo much.
Its going to be even more amazing when an EP comes out.
OT:
You can find guides on Mod the Sims or MATY (More awesome than you).
There is also guides on TSR and the TSR tool for making patterns.
http://www.thesimsresource.com/tutorial ... w/detailedEnjoy ( i still need to learn how to make my own ones, but i downloaded some custom ones)

i hate how the camera is, it gives me a headache, i really hate some movements of the camera and with the mouse, it moves sometimes where you don't want it to move.

Not really, later on i wanted it to be even more faster with the edge scrolling.
You just need to get used to it.

I was pretty disappointed to be honest, was expecting something a bit more challenging.
Its the exact same game, only with better graphics and a living neighborhood and less robot-like sims.
It actually takes more than 10 minutes to get another sim to date/marry your's, they can also "woohoo" without being in a relationship, thats kinda nice.
Making money is easier, just add the "Computer Whiz" trait to your sims and let em hack for the whole night(9pm-7am), i made almost 4k overnight.
In conclusion, it was overrated before it came out, it wasnt THAT revolutionary and it didnt make me go "wow!" when i played it.
When TS2 came out i was playing it for months, i have TS3 for less than 2 weeks and already got bored with it.
Another thing thats been a real bitch is the clock, its so DAMN slow!!
It takes ages for my sim to sleep!
The x2 clock on TS2 was faster than the x3 clock on TS3.
It might be because my graphics card sucks so the game doesnt run as smooth as it should, i really hope thats the reason.

Hey, better for me! I always wanted to keep always young my sim!
And i feel so bad when he dies

I always used to buy that drink on TS2 which it can make you a bit younger or screw you and make you older lol

Not challenging ? Hah yeah right.
Try to finish every single challenge on one sim without cheating.
Thats going to be a lot of Life fruits.
And someone on TSR tested it, its actually the same time no idea why it feels longer on Sims 3.
I always plan what to do next while my sims are sleeping.

Just like i said, it might be my comp's fault that the clock is slow, the game isnt running too good because i seriously need a new graphics card, mine sucks mega balls.
Are there any job rewards in TS3?
What do i get if i reach the top of a career?

You get your Lifetime wish, make more money and there are some special actions. But i have no idea which.
Thats why i like the challenges from the skill Journal more and i love Opportunities.

i haven't played long enough to get "opportunities" but i do use hacks for gain fast skills, and cheats for money.
But.....i want to know how to kill my Sims besides burning them, i haven't tried drowning them yet, i want to see electrocuted one too.
I think without being able to make custom content like Sims 2 have, The Sims 3 is sort of the same game but with shittier custom content.

As far as i know sims can die from old age, fire, drowning, water, electroshock, hunger and fright.

Yeah right, you are comparing a game with years of creators hard work with something that didn't came even a month ago.
Chill and wait a little, you people are never satisfied.
First you complain that you don't have custom patterns, the mods and creators made the tools that you can have them and still people are complaining.
You just need more patience, they are still testing the clothing tool, but they already successful added a new mesh to the game.
Wait a few months and you will see. But still Sims 3 gameplay is far more better then sims 2.
