I have a key for aion open beta for europeans....
I can't tell how much I love the game. It's fantastic.

For those that don't know, the game is paying, if you pay in pre order now you can get a key to access all the betas roughtly to end august only during weekends and I don't know if we will be able to keep the accounts created. I'm from a non listed european country, I just took the global european key. Before the settings to france, germany etc there is a global european seller and they work fine Everythings is going by mail and I got my beta-key in less than 10 minutes.

For setting up the game you have to download the NC installer first, last version. I had a GW account that I didn't play since long but had to delete it first and reinstall the new loader. After that I wasn't able to download the aion euro version (link broken) but I downloaded the US version (took me 16 hours, it's 15 mB). All you have to do after that is to go on the settings of the NC loader, you change American to European and there you go, flying in a new world.

The game is fantastic. There are of course lots of quests like "kill x mobs", gather "x items of killed mobs". But on the first day I also got some quests delivered on a scroll after I killed mobs, and giving huge rewards in game. There are no bots, at least I don't think even if I thought there were a couple of automated players. KS'ing isn't much done, most players respect each other enough to go on another mob. I'm glad to have a fresch breath of air after the crapped SRO experience of bots, bold buying, ks ing etc

I just ordered myself the collectors edition.

You get it 3 weeks earlier and you can already make characters.
48 hours before official server launch you can start playing, unlike the people who get the normal edition. And you also get 3 good items with the CE.

This isn't going to be like Age of Conan or big releases similar to this.

NCSoft has made several good titles in the MMORPG history.
Guild wars, lineage II and some others.

Sounds nice btw. Unfortunately I haven't got my hands on a beta key yet.
I've heard tons of amazing stuff and that was in the closed beta already.

Also, for those who are wanting to do research into the game, http://www.aionsource.com is going to be heaven for you. Huge board with tons of info on the game, daily updates by the mods and other good things that are really useful.

Success is pretty much guaranteed on this game, I can't wait. Keeping myself busy with WoW endgame pvp meanwhile.

$70 is quite a lot.. but the stuff you get from it is really worth it. I'm debating if I wanna spend that much lol. They could've thrown in another 30days in it for it's cost.. lol

I paid 10 euros now for the beta key; and there is 39 euro to left to pay in september.
I paid through DLGamer, the global seller for europe. My country isn't registered in the other european countries. I got the key and logged in immediately after use, and I'm on game.

How's the "world" like as in is it you walk 10 steps and you've explored the whole game?
Or is it like WoW, where it'll take you forever to get anywhere.

Twysta, you should get a beta key code for the game so you can play all the closed betas coming out. the next one is july 4th. Tommorow im going to gamestop to preorder the game and get my beta key and mess around in aion.. seems cool but im not getting CE because the wings your not able to use till lvl 30, and the other stuff to me is useless :>

You get free "beta" keys through random websites. For example MMOsite or MMOrpg or whatever i forgot, gave away 10,000 keys, aionsource had few contests, gave away ~300 keys etc etc. That was a while ago..

I'm guessing there are still some sites that can hand out keys but haven't see any in a while, probably because the free keys were intented for the 1st and 2nd weekends/previews/CBS/whatever you want to call it.

I know most ppl now are getting their keys through preordering their game from stores or online. If you really want to try aion, go pre order it...you should get a key that will give you access to all the events/betas and if you don't like it you can always cancel it and get your money back.

I've seen torrents of the whole game but there's no point in getting them since you need a ncsoft account w/ beta key that will give you access to the betas.

as far as i know all the beta keys went dry before the first one even started, best thing is to preoder it then you get a key also preoder gets u ingame items when it starts. its good more people know about the game now its in beta while some have known it for few months/years xD.

Hmm I did my pre-order at a big dutch company (bol.com). Don't think they give beta keys. I checked the UK shops like Play and Game, none of them have any keys with the pre-order.

Or am I getting this wrong, and do you mean the key for early access etc that I'll get with the delivery?
