Well, the story is i haven't use for almost half a year my XBOX 360. So then i started to use it, then i bought some new games, etc. The problem is sometimes it won't load some of the games.

it says Loading, but after some seconds its turns as Open Tray (if like theres no CD inside) so i think is the lens problem.

Anyways, what should i do? take it to a local game store for a maintenance? (will cost some $$:()
or i can do it by myself in someway? lol riskier

do not try messing with it yourself, you'll break warranty and find yourself buying a whole new xbox 360 or living with a broken one.

I'd send it in if you can.

I remember I had problems with some of my games. If I recall correctly, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, and I believe Prince of Persia too, wouldn't load. I just googled "*game title here*" won't load and it gave me a whole list of people with the same problem, so I figured it wasn't my Xbox 360. Usually you just have to clear your cache and it works.
I suggest you try clearing the cache of your own 360 before you'll send it in.
I'm not sure if it works for you, but it's worth the try.

yea, friend had to do the same. but doesnt hurt to try what they all said first.

Hit it with a chair...worked for me.

It's not a button you just press, no. If you took the effort of googling for 15 seconds you would have known that.

Clear the Cache on the Xbox 360

To clear the cache on the Xbox 360 do the following:

• Go to the Xbox Dashboard, select the System Blade, and select Memory.
• Highlight the HD symbol and press Y.
• Press X, X, Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X, X.

Here is my problem with sending it in:

When you send it in, you don't get your xbox fixed. You receive another xbox that was broken and was fixed. The reason XBOX offers this service, is because the older models are built to fail. So essentially when you send it in, you're just receiving another ticking xbox.

Sending it in should be the last possible option.
