mm ,something like u use sword or guns and keep slashing enemies etc ,kinda like devil may cry

hmm well then i'd say cabal, but I know you've already played that.
so then try LOTR: return of the king. it's not flashy but pretty darn slashy.

oh and a personal favorite:
Silver (made by infogrames) it's not flashy either, but it has a nice story and good action.
you can actually control what attack your character will use by moving your mouse in different ways: moving the mouse in a long straight line will cause the character to perform a straight stab.
unfortunatly the game is very hard to find I believe, it never really received the attention it should have gotten. just like psychonauts =/

X-Blades is pretty much only hack n slay, keep smashing buttons without really thinking of tactics^^
Graphics may suck if u dont like them, or take one of the ideas mentioned before, kinda all of them are quite good
