what can you possible do in 24hrs? You cant really get a feel for the game in just 24hrs. It should be at least 3days or a week ^^

game sucked anyway i wouldn't even bother downloading it for free...
its HL2 Engine made game..

no, it uses a better updated version of the source engine, and you obviously don't know what a good game is then.

I agree. It should be 3 days to 1 week of play. Like they did with Day of Defeat; Source. My lowlife self, took a week off school to play that week

I love DoD source, but not that much o_O Game is awesome, but boring after a couple hours.

L4D is very well optimized compared to HL2 and even more compared to css...
And besides, just because you don't like it doesn't mean the game sucks

I usually don't like fps games but I tried Half Life 2 with the Orange Box sale some days ago and I liked it. So how is L4D compared to HL2 ? Should I give it try even if I'm not a fps fan ?

well, l4d is hard for newbies to get into. but its a lot like half life 2 minus some of the game mechanics in exchange for a few new ones.
