Been waiting for this ever since I finished the 2nd game, the series is one of the very few shooters I really like.
I'll most likely be getting this for the PC, so that means I finally have a good excuse to get a new one lol.
By the look of Max' face, this might be the last game.
If that's the case I hope it'll end in a good way, I can't help feeling bad for all the misery Max has been put through.

I would be mad too if I found my wife and baby dead.
I love the bullet time and like you said it is one of the only games that is worth getting a new PC for.I hope this isn't the last one, I loved playing as Max and figuring out the clues.
I just hope we can drive in this one.

Just when you thought Max Payne was finally out of the game, Rockstar Vancouver announced back in March that a sequel, Max Payne 3, would be dropping simultaenously on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC this winter. Alright, so that was at least half-expected considering how well Max Payne 2 was received. And now, Max is back, grittier than ever and ready to bring the "Payne" (zing!) after the loss of his family and his lover Mona Sax.
Sloppy looks and bald head aside, let's hope Rockstar's formula hasn't become as unusually tainted as Payne's shirt. With the promise of a "more world-weary and cynical" Max, Rockstar Games founder Dan Houser ensures that this will be Payne's final chapter, with just as much focus on action and story as its predecessors. To me, it sounds like jargon for "more guns, more blood, and the occasional outrageous plot twist." Frankly, I couldn't really ask for more. -
sourceI can't help but feel bad for poor Max.
In the original game, he lost his wife and child.
In two, he lost Mona Sax (except for DOA, kind of hope she'll be back) and now he lost his hair too.
Give that poor man a happy end in MP3.

I've played Max Payne 1 and 2 so long ago, I don't even remember them well.

I remember everyone being hyped about it like "OMG you jump like in Matrix shooting everything; so cool so cool!". Until the Enter Matrix game came out, everyone chilled down then lol
And why do all game characters have to get really old? -_- First MGS, then Splinter Cell, now Max Payne. -_-
How come Mario doesn't do it?

Mario eats mushrooms
Also i dont think Max Payne is old, i think its more that hes let himself go. You
can see he has gained weight and i would put the hair down to him simply shaving
it off.
But the stains and what hes wearing...lol like the low life gutter trash he used
to kill
