didn't like the mouse responsiveness when I played the beta. Tried every number that was there for sensitivity but nothing worked for me. Quake 4 was fine for me tho.

Was interested, until I learned that there aren't decent asian servers yet.

ok I played some but it's pretty diehard. I tried my best against the bot and got to 17 frags before I first died. I like duels more than the DM zerging so I tried a lot of duels and I can only fight against people outskilling me miles, people that have like 70%+ on their railgun hitrating and stuff like that. (I only have 44%)

It's a bitch to play when you get owned so hard but I'm learning really fast. In a series against some guy I went from 21-5 to 16-8, it's 25% increase already (same map) and in my last game I had 35% accuracy, 25% in first game.

Well you own my butt when it comes to accuracy. Im usually down to 20% in a game, though I havnt tried duels yet.

I'm losing a lot of duels where I have the better aim, I just get owned so hard because I can't do strafe jumping and that kind of stuff, as well as just general quake knowledge. It's getting frustrating. I see people in spec before the duel and I think I can take em considering their aim but there's just so many stuff that you can use to compensate low aim, urhg.

I really wanna get good at this, quake is such an awesome game when you pwn.

Anyways, can we do a duel as well? My username is wouterlol. I'm usually trying the servers that are slightly more difficult than my skill level, I hope in the long run it won't affect my general skill level. I think you learn fastest against good players.

This game is browser based?

As opposed to something you purchase and install

sort of browser based, but it runs just like a normal installed program. It's pretty much Quake 3 Arena except for different spawns here and there.

Pretty much Quake 3 in your browser.

I'm not a Q3 pro, but I had friend who is, what he always try to tell is that knowing when and where each item/powerup spawns is a key part in sucess.

tried it and dont really like it.. I stick to classic Quake lol, browser one is moving weird

You can't challenge a specific person to a duel, it's difficult to find the same server and stuff like that.
Also, it's not really the same to the normal Q3A, a lot of stuff is actually different.
