Moving a virus from one spot on a disk will not help at all. It's still in the same location eg:
C:/User/Docs/Virusfolder

lool, it helps the disc organise so IT can find files faster (not you, as you will stil see them in the same place as you left them). as soda said it will not help at all. Just because you can defrag does not mean your a computer expert who should be paid a 7 digit figure. Just means your a dumbass who pretends he is an expert that should be paid a 7 digit figure!!!!

I knew someone who was just like you, i thought he was a comp pro as this was the time i just started to use computers, looking back on how he used to think Windows ME was the best makes me cringe in pain.

If it was a virus the virus scan you did fixxed it.

sure i can take a computer apart and put it back together and get it running but thats about it im not to great at working on software,

i can do a bit of c++ and java but thats pretty much it

dude a small child can fit the blocks in the right sized hole it dont mean he knows how to be a computer tech, your trying to make your self been better then you are i didnt ask whether you could put a computer together nor questioned your education i said you cant fix a computer and have no idea about how the programs you are using work.

Think i might defrag when i goto bed. Got some nasties on my pc and i need them moved to the recycle bin. Its amazing what defrag can do these days.

This can be a series of problems. Well considering CoD2 starts up directx when the menu begins and I thnk that second video. You may try to reinstall your video drivers, update them or such. Usually the cause of crash like that results from the attempt to the conversion to Direct9 than DX7. Now I doubt that those features run through the menu and such but give it a try. You can also backup ur saves and then reinstall the game, that usually solves anything. If that doesnt fix it then you know it's most likely a driver issue or a OS issue which I highly doubt it was your brother
