Fast-paced sp rpg

Looking for some fast paced single player role-playing games...

Diablo 3 won't be released till 2009.. Diablo I&2 has dated graphics which kinda makes it boring, already finished Dungeon Seige I&II for like 10+ times, Neverwinter Nights I&2 and combat can be pretty boring at times...

Soooo... anyone can recommend me some other games except for the ones I've already played?

Edit: I think of getting X3.. they say it's like eve online.. but only single player. meh

Traditional RPG and action don't mix.

Mass Effect rolls kids though, even its combat is great. Usually more intense than in the video, but I couldn`t find any without spoiling the story.

around 1:30 there is an arena fight. some fights in the game can be 4-5X as massive as those. (1 vs 20-30) the game is from 2004 and it had a nice story to it.

I tried Mass Effect but... I can run it on high settings and stuff with decent frame rates... but the problems is with the menu(character screen, quest log, inventory, etc).. it takes a freaking long time to load... I guess my 1 gb of ram isn't enough.
