So, i saw it today. I need to go and play the game to get that crap out of my mind now. How hard is it to stick the the original storyline!?
Ok, sometimes its hard to translate a games storyline to a movie but i dont see where it would have been hard with max payne, it would have fit rather well into a movie tbh.
The slow-mo tumbling and shooting bits were done pretty well though, i was expecting that if they did include any it would be over the top but it was done well
EDIT: the absence of hawaiian shirts and over the top facial expressions was also a let down.

Re: Max Payne Movie
The story line lost me in that movie, But the action and acting was simply AMAZING. Even though the story didn't make sense, The Acting and action covered for it.

Spoiler!
Re: Max Payne Movie
Loved the games, so I went to see it the very first time they showed it in the cinema. (October 16th, I kept the ticket as a souvenir, tee hee) I really liked the movie, can't expect them to stuff the complete storyline into a 100 min movie, but I was dissapointed Nicole Horne's role was so.. unimportant, while she was the criminal mastermind, the queen of the underworld who had tried to lift herself a bit closer to heaven with her drug money.
