Has any1 gotten this game yet. For the Xbox360 or the PS3?

This game interestes me alot from what I've seen on youtube and gametrailers.com.

So I'd like to know how it is from personal experience from players. Like how is the gameplay is it hard to play etc etc.
Are the GFX really that nice that they say it is.

And I heard that if you set fire in some bush in the map and you dont put it out, the fire goes through the whole map O_O if thats true now thats some good coding right there.

Im getting it on the PC. It was released today but im not getting it for another 2 weeks yet.

The fire thing is true, although it dosnt spread through the whole map, that would be crazy, its way too big.

Yea thought so also. But thats really nice that it doesn't go out it stays in flames

And IF your getting it for the PC you better have a ultra good 1. Thats why I bought a Xbox360 ,... I don't wanna spend money each time a new good game comes out.

Actually you dont need a good one, its really really optimized. Most can run it, the game is awesome, getting mine in about 30 minutes.

Meh, overhyped. I got it for PC, and the graphics are amazing. But the gameplay is boring. There are like guard posts that you have to kill. Its quite easy, but EVERYTIME you have to get past there you have to kill them all again. It sucks ass lol. And for missions they send you to the other side of the map. So you have to get past those posts again. Well that's boring. I have only seen a zebra and an antelope in about 5 hours gameplay. Well ye, overhyped like I said.

You dont have to kill them again, and just take the bus...and ive seen a ton of animals so far.

Got it for pc , graphics are amazing the engine really does some amazing stuff , but the gameplay is really boring until now ...

Anyways i hope for the better in late level of the game i guess

Heard at about 43% the story gets good. But honestly i didnt get the game for the story line, just wanted to go around and kill, so doesnt really both me.

How long is the single play ? Cuz I found gears of war single play kinda less....

GoW =/= Farcry 2?

Yea ok... But Ilike a long single play

It's very long if you want to know , lots of quest to do from main to side and side side

it is really long, and fun. So many ways to do things. I love the game

Just watched some gamekings stuff about this game on my tv and I am so gonna buy this game next week.

got if for pc, I like it so far. Runnin it at 1920x1200 on very high settings with a 9800GTX smoothly Once u get a good gaming pc every time I play my 360 it looks like crap to me even on 1080p

Dont need a monter for it anyways, basic 8800 can play it on very high and ultra. Balance it out with a good CPU.

Then buy the game on Steam. It's a great game. Gameplay is like far cry 1 in the shooting department. Game looks pretty on PC.

I find the shooting mechanics a tad different, and the gun movement is something like ArmA. But easy to control, so many new weapons. Been playin for around 8 hours total, only at 14%. Game really is worth it.

It probably safe to say that you played GoW on easy or normal, w/e they are called ingame.

Play it on the hardest setting, and it'll take you fuckin' ages.

'Obtained' Far Cry 2 the other day .. can just say .. disappointments me so badly omg. Ok fine the graphics look good but it .. ugh gameplay is so obvious and pathetic. Once you get past all the eye candy the game is left standing there with nothing to show you. Sucks so bad.

Oh and saying you can play the game on ULTRA high and shit means **** all >.>. I'm on my old 7600 GS with a 2.8GHz HT I mean ffs can't ge tany worse and I manage to pull a steady 15 fps with ULTRA HIGH @ 1280x800. I play all on high tho for a normal 30 fps which is more than enough for me.

Yea only played GoW on easy. Took me a few days to do it, but only played 1-2h perday.

Can't wait for Farcry 2 on my xbox ><
